The Farr family has been involved in the lumber industry for over 50 years. The journey began in the 1960s at Kipling Lumber where old-school service and a passion for wood products was the norm. In 1992 when the opportunity to purchase Leathertown Lumber in Acton came around, Vic Farr jumped at the chance to have a small town lumber business in the growing area of Halton Hills.
1992 to Today
Since 1992, the communities of Acton, Georgetown, Rockwood, Milton, Guelph, Toronto and cottage country have grown accustomed to the excellent customer service at Leathertown Lumber.
It's our complete selection of pressure treated lumber, cedar and pine, rough oak for fencing and rough pine for board and batten. There's the complete line of Micro Pro Sienna treated wood. Plus all the framing materials you need. Our showroom is stocked with Sico paint, hardware, tools, plumbing and electrical products, and siding, windows and doors. Whatever you need to complete your building and renovation projects, we're here to help. Our experienced staff will do whatever they can to fulfill your needs.
